How We Came to Be.....
With it's New England motif, dining
at Capt.Brien's Seafood & Raw Bar is like taking a Cape
Cod vacation. hailing from Wakefield Massachusetts, Capt.
Brien and his family felt that Marco Island was missing the
true New England style eatery. After starting Satisfaction
Guaranteed Fishing Charters in 1998, Capt. Brien and his
father, Santo Spina, decided to fill the void by opening Capt.
Brien's Seafood & Roast Beef in July of 2001. Capt.Brien
and brother-in -law Executive Chef, Brian Laurent, decided
that only the freshest seafood would be served. Our seafood
is flown in fresh from New England daily. from our Ipswich
whole belly clams, Maine steamers and gulf shrimp to our dry
pack sea scallops and Maine lobsters, everything is prepared
fresh from scratch and cooked to order. Our new England style
roast beef sandwiches are slow roasted medium rare and thin
sliced to order with your choice of toppings. We even prepare
our own batters and sauces from scratch each and every morning.
As a result, our homemade cornbread as well as our beer and
buttermilk battered onion rings are "almost famous". So kickback,
relax and rest assured that we are serving the freshest seafood
available, but be sure to save room for some of Auntie Millie's
lemon Lush or one of our other homemade desserts !
